According to the official website of Guangdong Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, on June 15, the first national standard "Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry Analysis Method" formulated by the institute of quality control of Maoming passed the examination on the National Chemical Standardization Technical Committee .

In recent years, based on the national quality supervision and inspection center for hazardous chemicals, Maoming City Quality Project made breakthrough progress in setting standards and seizing the power of competitive discourse. The Guangdong Provincial Synthetic Resin and Rubber Standardization Technical Committee, which was organized by Shanghai Quality Project, was formally established in Maoming in 2013, achieving a zero breakthrough at the Provincial Standardization Technical Committee (TC) in Maoming.

By vigorously promoting the work of technical standards, the quality inspection and testing capability of Maoming Municipality has rapidly expanded, involving 795 domestic product standards, nearly 800 test method standards and 83 international test methods standards, greatly enhancing the technical discourse power in the petrochemical field .
